MX CAD Jewellery Designs Limited was established in Dublin Ireland in 2014 by Richard and Deborah Moon.  Richard has extensive, specialist fine jewellery manufacture and design skills and experience and has worked in the jewellery business for forty years.  Deborah has an Honours Degree in design and art history as well as extensive business, design and retail experience. 

MX CAD is a one-stop-shop jewellery design studio and manufacturing workshop supplying the jewellery retail trade with bespoke fine jewellery.  We offer a wide range of services within the spectrum of jewellery design and manufacture and our workshop and design studio are equipped with the most up to date technology and equipment, such as CAD, a 3D printer, laser and setting microscope.  

Our customers have the option to select a design from our comprehensive online catalogue of designs shown on this website, or we can custom design a bespoke piece of jewellery for you.  You have the option to buy our designs at various stages of manufacture, for example you can just buy the CAD design and continue with the process of printing, casting and finishing yourself, or you my choose to buy the 3D Wax print and cast and finish yourself, or we can cast and assemble for your or manufacture and set the finished piece for you. 

We use the most up to date CAD design technology to design jewellery.  All the jewellery on offer in our catalogue is designed on CAD, so customers have the option of buying just the CAD design, which would be delivered to you via email.  To avail of this option, select the link for Shop from the Main Menu on the Home page, browse the designs, make your design selection then choose CAD Design only from the drop down menu on the product page, thereafter you will be guided through the purchase process on our website.

We have a full range of equipment required to print designs as a 3D wax model. All you have to do is select a design from our catalogue, select the 3D Wax Model link and you will be guided through the purchase process.  You will note that our products have been designed to accommodate specific sized stones. Should you wish to use different size stones please select the link for Jewellery Design and we will gladly accommodate you.

We are able to have your designs cast in a precious metal of your choosing. Should this be your preference, please select the design you would like to purchase then select the Casting link in our main menu and we will guide you through the process.

We have highly skilled and proficient goldsmiths in our workshop, and are therefore able to assemble your selected design, once it has been through the printing and casting process. If you wish to avail of this service, please select the Assembly link in our main menu and we will guide you through the process.

Our setter is available to set stones in your selected design. You would be required to provide the stones for your chosen design.  If you do not have stones and need assistance in this regard we will be happy to guide you in this regard.  If you require your chosen design to be set and polished once it has been through the casting and assembly stages of manufacture, please select the Full Service Set Polish Options link in our main menu and we will guide you through the process.
